Ports & Programs
Hello,
Well first off, since its true, I'll be honest. I have a program that, once, you click a button and a computer goes to http://yourip it tells who went there. And no, its not meant for hacking. My posts vary from getting text between strings to registration techniques. I do not have any reason what so ever to hack.
Having said that, I need help with something. I'm on a network (LAN). My network includes wireless, a router, and some other computers on it. When I run my program and people go to it, it ends up displaying "The page cannot be displayed" for them. As once I go on a computer on my network, it works and it shows the person who went there. I really need this to work because I'm deciding to make a whole program that like makes a website and stuff. See, for my program you can put html code. And I'd like to create a safe website where if any one acts up I can "prevent" there ip from going there.
If I open port 80 (Microsoft IExplore uses that to communicate) it disables my internet... So thats no good. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
alacritous
About the hacking. I just want to say, I'm very young (not like 10) but close, heh... And I have no reason to hack. I mainly play games and programming is fun and challenging for me.
