    Unhappy Physical Database not found

    Help !!

I use VB 6.0 and Crystal Report 8.0, I use Crystal Report to generate .rpt file and then add it to VB, everything runs Ok !
but after I make the .exe and packaged then installed on the machine that don't have the Crystal Report installed. I run the ap, it runs ok, but when I try to view the report , I got nothing but empty viewer and error message popup said 'Physical database not found', can any one tell me what I did wrong.

    Thanks in advance !

    Lightbulb Do it

First you must put the database in the same dir when you develop the report.

If it is ok you must include this libraries into you install package:

    P2bbnd.dll
    p2bdao.dll
    p2ctdao.dll
    p2irdao.dll
    p2sevt.dll
    P2smon.dll
    p2sodbc.dll

as a last resort you can create a distribution on CrystalReports for your .rpt and the use it to install the required files...that is incredible annoying... i know

If you try it on WinMe ...chances are that it'll work too ...that has happend to me before and still does... I'll try later to post when I get to work and to give you the details on the alternate solution without the need to install Crystal Reports (imagine having to buy additional licenses for each installation -ouch-)
