call me thick if you like but where are these.

1 MS Access database (in this article it will be referred to has DB1)
1 MS Access Table (in this article it will be referred to has table1)

    and this line says.
Once in the references we will now go and tick “Microsoft Active Data Objects 2.5 Library” (2.5 is just a version you can use whatever version you have).

    i have 2.0 library, 2.1 library, 2.5 library, 2.6 library, 2.7 library and recordset 2.7 library.

which one would i use ?

    thanks

I believe in the tutorial, he asks you to create a database to use. You can do this with the addin tool provided with VB6, or use Microsoft Access to create one.

Go ahead and try to use 2.7 (as you generally want to use the most up to date resources in your applications), but if you find the code isn't working and you can't find any errors, switch to 2.5 and see if that fixes it.

I would try it out right now, but I don't have VB6 installed anymore (just .NET).

Let me know if you need more help.
