    Web page for application download

I'm developing an desktop application that is going to made available for download from my company's website. I have been asked to come up with some ideas for the format of a web page to add to the site for this purpose.

The page needs to contain the download and also a list of features, known bugs, plans for future release, FAQs, etc.

My first thought was to copy MSDN's style. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions or experience in this area? Any advice would be appreciated.
This world is not my home. I'm just passing through.

It's best to keep it simple. Take a look at other d/l sites like www.kazaalite.tk or www.minimp3.com for an idea.

IMEO, the first page would contain dated description of updates to the software, and link would be to FAQ, Instructions, Disclaimer, CREDITS. Bugs shouldn't be so apparent, and ought to be included in the FAQ or disclaimer, or just in the readme.txt with your app.

Thanks Mendhak, I'll go have a look at those links.

Spajeoly or Moderator, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Which one would you suggest?

The .Net forums would be a better place, I only say cause you will get more answers from the web pro's that exist there.

The "HTML, XHTML..." forum would be better. I don't see how this is related to .net
