    I remember about 1.5 years ago when i started to learn .NET, such program was in one of the sponsored links of google when you did a search by .NET. I dont know if this the same as that but as far as i remember the site looked different.
    By the way this page reads:
    A code-sharing tool for Visual Studio .NET developers.
    Do you think that you are a Visual Studio .NET developer? I dont think so, you may be a VB.NET or C#.NET or whatever language.NET developer but Visual Studio .NET developer seems meaningless to me.

    I didn't like the code sharing tool . Usually C++ programmers have a good community on the net not VB (dunno about C#) , so I better host my own code in my own HD ....

    I don't know about you, but I am a Visual Studio .Net developer myself. I code in VB.Net and C# mainly, but will dab in the Visual C++.Net realm when I need to. For my job I am doing now, I develop with VB.Net, but my language of choice is C#. So yes, I am a Visual Studio.Net developer. I use Visual Studio.Net to develop applications no matter which language it is actually written in.

    The code sharing link was just to show everyone that it is there. If you don't use it, ok, no big deal.

    I got my welcome pack today still sifting through it but the 'Application Architecture for .NET' book seems pretty interesting. I think Microsoft is doing a lot more since .NET to try and educate developers on programming the Microsoft way. Whether programming that way is good or not is I guess a matter of opinion but I like most of it.

    If so, I already got that from another offer.

    I think that book above is pretty informative. I never thought of creating UI processes, and am really turned on by the idea.

    Yes it is that book and that is really the only cool thing in there. There is some training CD and a bookmark and thats about it. So if you already have that book then you'll probably be disappointed. Yes I like the different breakdown of Layers although reading about it always makes it seem more complex than it is. Although I too am already thinking of how the idea of Processes could help some of my projects. I don't know that I'd say they 'turn me on' but I like them
