PWS Vs Internet Connection
I have PWS on my computer and have been using it without a problem for almost a year now, but I've recently got an Internet Connection for it, and everytime I try and run one of my sites locally I get told to Connect to the Internet to load it!
Why can't I now run my local websites without connecting to the internet? I'm sure its just a setting somewhere but I don't know where and would be very grateful to anyone who told me where it is!

How are you attempting to access your local sites? Note that to access your local sites on IIS or PWS for that matter, you *will* have to connect.
I have the same thing on my PC, I cannot access http://localhost/ if I am working in offline mode.

Hi mendhak,
Thanks for your reply.
You shouldn't have to connect because you can run PWS without having an Internet connection, because I used to run it without any problems.
I do us http://localhost/ so is there no way that I can use it without connecting? If not isn't that a bit weird?

No, what I meant is, check to see if Internet Explorer is in Offline mode (File Menu).
If it's NOT in offline mode, and it still asks you to connect, then yes, that is weird. Otherwise, I think that's the problem.
