Go to McAfee.com and try the "Chat with an Expert" thing! I had the same problem once (actually I had several installation problems with McAfee) and this thing always help!

I would go into Program Files, delete the mcafee folder then go into the registry and take out the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Mcafee [entry]
Then try to re-install Mcafee

That could be handy too! Still, I once viewed a help topic related to such a problem, it said to look everywhere in the registry and delete all the keys containing McAfee!
That sounds terrible!

I've taken Mcafee totaly out of the registry by hand and that is a pain in the arse, it seems to infest the registry with way too many entries. I think if its just taken out of that one hive key entry AND delete the Mcafee folder you can get by and re-install without all the extra "handy" reg. work....But beings that Mcafee makes all those "extra" reg entries ( I hate that s**t) I installed Norton instead...every time...
