Intellisence flashing on/off - Fixed
My intellisence function (Visual Studio 6) has suddenly developed a unique function in that it flashes on for about 300ms and then disappears.
Unfortunately it is now a useless function as I have not done a speed reading course.
Have any of the members experienced this problem and are there any recommendations.

Take the course.
I have also noted strange behavior in VB6 that manifests eventually, but not that particular one. You might try something simple, like turning it off, closing VB6 (it must save settings at some point, but I don't know when), start it back up again, turn on intellisense, see if that got it straightened out.
Ultimately, it is probably something bad, which gives you two options: Live with it, re-load VB6.

Hi Shaggy,
Eventually I re-installed the package. I have been using VB6 for the last four years and it has never done this to be before.
Interesting!
Thanks for your reply.

Okay - Reloading did not sort out the problem.
I noticed that on opening the project it worked correctely but as soon as I add a new form the intellisence would not load up properly but flash.
The project is very big with a lot of usercontrols and activeX exe modules. I compiled some of the objects and removed them from the project and then the intellisence started working correctly.
I assume the problem was a memory problem and the IDE could not load up the intellisence data so it would close down shortly after starting up.
- Any better conclusions ???
