Make Project1.exe not enabled
For some reason, I am unable to compile my projects because "Make Project1.exe" is not enabled. I used to be able to compile, the problem started after I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled VB6. Does anyone have any information that will help me with this problem?

Your licence has probably got messed up. Do you also get an error when you try to add certain activeX controls?
if so get VB6Cli.exe from MS

Get each and every Garfield strip here!
Here you can get all Calvin & Hobes strips!
Damn UComics! It was probably unprofitable for them to allow us to just download Garfield and Calving & Hobes strips... so they made folder indexing unallowed on their server!!!
I am 33% addicted to Counterstrike. What about you?
I am 23% addicted to Star Wars. What about you?

It worked just fine before, and I could compile.

I tried the Vb6cli.exe, when I ran it it said that VB6 was not detected on my system. I can't seem to find any way to fix this.

Just to make sure - you actually uninstalled before installing?

Visual Basic 6.0 Working Model Edition, yes... I completely uninstalled it and then installed it again.

Here's a website that says
Our Visual Basic text is available with the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Working Model Edition, supplied on CD. The Working Model Edition is bundled with textbooks only and is not sold separately. It contains the same basic features of the Learning Edition, but it does not install online help files or allow the user to create the executable files needed to distribute their applications...

would be interesting to enable this using an external prog and see if m$ actually removed the code
