IIS Server that can host ASP.NET on windows XP Home
hi,
I am wondering is IIS server comes alone that can host ASP.NET Web Pages & Web services on windows XP Home Edition. Or Any Equivalent Server or Software that can do the abovementioned task. I want this for learning purpose.

While XP Home Edition is not intended to have this functionality it can be added. http://www.15seconds.com/issue/020118.htm
I have never this but some have with success.

The Solution has worked for me for about 75%. It put IIS component in windows add/remove windows Component List. But I cant Check Or Uncheck that option. If you have some more idea about that. Please informe me. I tried to change some values in c:\windows\inf\Sysoc.inf file. After some changes i could only install IIS SMTP Service & not WebServer. Do you HAve Any Idea or other SOlution about This.

Off the top of my head no, since I don't have the Home Edition to test with. I would recommend just upgrading to Pro. if possible. If you are going to be doing dev work it makes sense to do upgrade. It would be a viable self investment in my opinion.

U can try to run ASP.NET Sites and services on the Cassini webserver (can be found at www.asp.net)
