    Crystal Novice.. help!

    Using Crystal Reports, I am trying to get all the contact names under an organization... grouping by organization name... The contact names are displaying twice... soemthing like

    John Doe
    Mary Doe

    John Doe
    Mary Doe

    Could someone advise?

    hey

    it could be in your groupings the report head and report footer, I would have to see it to help you any more than that

    try this

    maybe try surpressing footer grouping
    what section are the two names coming from the details or group headng/footer?

    can you give u r table structure other wise make employee name as group.

    ..but...

    I did in fact remove the footer grouping and it seems all right...
    now...

    But I wanted to display a field from that table in the footer...
    based on the header group...

    Doable? is it?

    Passing argument from report to subreport?

    I have the report which, for organizations, displays
    Name (first and Last) Title Function etc... of the contatcs

    That's happening in the group header..

    What I am trying to do in the footer is to display company's activity... So, please tell me If I am wrong or If I can get this to work...

    So I created a subreport.. where the activity will be
    displayed... But the subreport is displaying all the activities of all organizations in each footer.. How can I make it display the activity for the organization currently being displayed in the header?

    Any help is appreciated
