Hello,
When I put a textbox control in a form and set its defaultvalue property to “=Date()” to get the system date, it returns “#Name?”. What is this?
This happens if I design that form in an Access database saved and compiled (as MDE) on a PC with English version of Windows and then install the same database in another PC with another language version of Windows, say Portuguese.
Does anyone know if this is a bug in Access or Windows?
(It surely is not mine! )
Thank you!

What is the language of the Access version you have on the second computer? Maybe it's a localization problem.

Both computers have the same version of Access 2000.
