Screen Saver Registry Settings

Hi all.

Where would I find out the default screen saver in the registry.

Do you mean where the current screen saver is stored? I had this very problem, and I looked and looked, to discover it is stored in C:\Windows\System.ini, in the "boot" section as "SCRNSAVE.EXE." Changing this entry to a different screen saver will result in the screen saver being changed instantly. I think that the file name must be in DOS 8.3 format.
