    Question k6-2 333mhz server

hey guys, i am building a server for my room to store things on and possibly run an ftp. i need some help though. i can not find a motherboard that will run an AMD K6-2 333mhz processor with 256MB SDRAM! if you know of any boards, or know where to get one, please let me know! i am not wanting to spend anymore than about $100 on the whole system. i have the processor, ram, case, power supply, and all that jazz. i just need a motherboard. thanks guys.

You're only going to find second hand motherboards that support that old a chip!

For about $100 you'll find a complete PC with a K6-233. You can put the extra memory ( and HD) in it, and it works.

PS Use linux as OS for the server, it is more secure and faster

OpenBSD is far more secure, and faster than GNU/Linux for a lot of things.
