    [Resolved] Computer not shutting down

When I go to shut down Windows, it'll go to a black screen with a flashing white dash (caret or something). It USED to shut itself off when I shut down Windows.

Any ideas why it stopped and what I can do to fix it?

Disable Advanced Power Management. 90% of the times it does the trick!

I had other problems with my computer, so I ended up just formatting. Now all is well, again.
