    Question File transfer: USB?

    Does anyone know of any freeware utility for file transfer that allows direct connection through the USB ports?

    If you're on 98, ME, 2000, or XP, the OS can do it by itself...

    I think only 2k and XP allow you to do that.

    I looked around and all the major USB network via-hub kits say they'll work on 98, ME, 2000, and XP (and some even 95 Rev.B).

    Ah well. Never worked for me, I've always had to install first in case of 9x.
