this is what i get when i ping my computer name "k7s5axous"

the ip address should be "192.168.2.100" it is assigned by my router but it says that the ip is "::1:" as you can see. Why is it doing this??

that works properly but my when my router tries to forward information from The Public IP to my computer it says that it cant find 192.168.2.100 but it shows it in DHCP

Fixed the problem tho, I uninstalled IPv6 and that was it.

Sounds like your DNS is screwy.

Re-install TCP/IP.

Be careful if you have scheduler or any cron jobs assigned to an ethernet card, as it could also go screwy as the MAC addresses will not match the IP.

If your on XP then flush your DNS cache. OPen run and type "cmd" (without quotes). They under the prompt put: ipconfig/flushdns

Try that, if not that try the suggestion other ppl have. I have no other ideas.
