    Login failed for user 'MOON\ASPNET' , why?!

    hi,

    i created a design time connection , when trying to connect i get this error >> Login failed for user 'MOON\ASPNET'.

    i have the aspnet account in my administrators group, still have the same problem, can anyone help me out? thanks

    Most asp login problems & permissions can usually be sorted via the IIS and dcomcnfg utilities. When do you get this error appearing exactly?

    yeah, it was an IIS problem, did a couple of things , not sure which fixed the problem, lol , its working fine now, i think it had something to do with "Server Extensions Web", thanks again
