    ServerVariables Collection

    My application uses the following line of code

    Request.Servervariables("LOGON_USER") to determine who is raising an event and update the database accordingly.

    Problem is, that it only seems to work sometime, sometimes I get an empty string back, but it's still me logged on etc. Anybody got any ideas?

    Add this on the top or your page:
    Code:
    <%If Request.ServerVariables("LOGON_USER") = "" Then
	Response.Status = "401 Access Denied"
	Response.End		
End If%>
    It will force IIS to refresh login information
