Dead PC
After waking up this morning, I pressed the power button on the CPU to turn it on, but nothing happened. When I mean nothing, I mean absolutely nothing happens. No lights, no whirr of the fan, nothing coming to life. It just sits there, dead.
How could my computer just suddenly die out like that? And what's the problem? Power supply? I may or may not know the answer, I need a confirmation. So talk to me, people!

First, try plugging into another outlet. Maybe a fuse in the houses fuse box that control that outlet might be out.
If not that, your power supply may just be dead. It could have gotten even the smallest electrical jolt. I killed a power supply once with a single finger with static electricity. Get a new one.

So Unbanned
Check the power supply unit's cords. Make sure they're plugged in, also check the wires for cuts, etc.
Then get inside the computer, check that the power cords from the PSU to the motherboard are in good condition and firmly connected to the board.
Depending on you fans, some will be powered directly off the PSU, while others may be powered off your motherboard.
Also, your CD-ROM should still open and close if power is being supplied to it. If that's the case, you probably have a bad motherboard. Otherwise, it's probably your PSU.

Have you tried another Power Supply? It could be that, happened to a friend of mine. Got a free comp out of it, he gave me the old one thinking it was broken. hehe

Are you sure that u pressed power button not the reset button.
One morning I pressed reset button and obvously nothing happened and I did so many things and then I realised after 10 minutes that it was a wrong button. It was the most self humiliating thing I ever did.

Uhm... no. I know how to use a computer.
Yes, I did check with another cable. I'm positive it's the power supply. I'm just waiting to scavenge money from somewhere to buy a new one.
