vb & flash

I read thru several threads on flash and vb, but I didn't find anything I could use. I wanted to know if there is any code that will let vb control the sound playback in flash? Simply, turn it on or off is all I am looking to do.

I have my flash movie loading when my form loads but when I jump to another frame the flash sound is still playing. I would like to stop the sounds from playing once I jump to the next frame and if I go back for the sound to play again.

Currently the movie just plays straight thru.

Best option I can think of is use .SetVariable then do some kind of check for that variable in the Flash movie to turn sound on and off.

could you elaborate a little more on this .SetVariable thingy? Im not aware of a setVariable for flash mx.

.SetVariable is a method of the Flash control. Variables are used in the scripting language of Flash. You need to learn that scripting stuff in Flash.
