Possible war coming with north korea

It's starting to look like we are going to be at war with north korea, every day the situation seems to be getting worse. Today I read on the news that NK and SK traded some fire at the DMZ. This will be a very bad war if it does happen, it could very well go nuclear.

Question is I suppose, would you support the war?

Well that would depend on where you live. The real question is what kind of nuclear weapons north korea has in thier arsenal and just how many they have. Our intel thinks around 3 nukes in thier arsenal. I'm guessing thier hydrogen bombs because of what kind of core their using for the bomb, IE: plutonium. It's about 100 more times powerful then the atomic nukes we droped on Japan in the 40's. So if those get set off then your going to have the damage that does and then the damage we'd do in retaliation.

At least they don't have a space program so they cannot hit just anywhere. I think the worse places to live list would be (in no order):

    West USA
    Japan
    South Korea
    North Korea

You'd also have a few famines in several places due to plant life being killed from fallout.

Sounds to me like the beginning of the end. I guess we can only hope that the end, is in fact, a new beginning.

I dunno about the end of the world thing but there would be at least a million people die in that war =(

    earth is over-crowded you know...

and all that nuclear radiation can only benefit the survivors - there will be a lot of radically different life forms as a result.

(I hope I can be transformed into: HULK.)

And all of us survivors can then be participant in Survivor : Apocalypse.

I wouldn't want anyone but Bush in power when/if this war does happen.

I would rather avoid a war with N Korea. America has never won a war with any sort of oriental people that didn't invlove Nukes.

We lost to Korea and Vietnam and would have lost to Japan if we hadn't nuked them.

But If N Korea wants a war America will sure as hell give it to them. And if they want to play the nuke game that's fine with me. I would love to see another dictator wiped off the face of the earth.

Well we woulda beat japan with or without nukes. The thing that made vietnam and Korea so dangerous was China. In the north korean war, china came over the boarder.

Bush may very well push us into war with them. He's like sure I'll accept your surrender but thats about it. He announced he was going to transport the weapons outside of korea. Which more or less makes the situation even more important to take care of. The end result is we are going to have to take his power at some point unless the bush admin takes talks a little more seriously.

It'll be a very bad war no matter how you look at it. This country has around 1 million troops and 2 or 3 nukes. But if you don't do something about it then you'll have everyone with nukes as north korea doesn't care who buys them. IE: If a person or a country buys them, just as long as they bring money.

They will have ten nuclear devices by the end of the year. This is a war we can't afford to fight. Even if we are the last one standing I would not consider this a victory if it requires sacrificing large portions of civilian populations.

C'mon. Isn't it somebody elses turn by now?
Surely other nations must have some concerns about this, other than the US?

Or, is it that they use reverse psychology to get The US and England to do all the dirty work?

We usually try not to pick on anyone who is even close to our own size.
