    Controlling a cooling fan

On my mainboard I have three fan contollers FAN1, FAN2 and FAN3 (GND, +12V and a sensor).

    FAN1 holds the CPU cooler.
Now, is is possible to make program that switches FAN2 on/off????

    I don't think so, unless it's a device driver.
You'd have to read the technical information of your mainboard producer.
