    Search for files ! .NET or API way ?[Resolved]

    Anyone tried searching the hd for files (folders and subfolders) and how fast is that . I'm quit sure APIs are faster and always win ? I need to compare both ways , I got the API but needs the .NET way

    From my view point , APIs are faster usually . I'm doing some tests on folders and files (about 400 folders , and more than 11,000 files ) and with long names . The code still needs lots tweakings though....lol
