    Angry Temperature of PCs

The temperature of my office is 30 degrees C and rising
Does anyone know of any documentation that specifies
    performance levels of PCs?

I seem to remember www.amd.com having lots of info along those lines, intel probably have something on their site too.

We've got impressive air con everywhere - a top tobacco company certainly can't cut costs on that!

no need - the air con is powerful enough to deal with it

it's nice being able to smoke at you desk if you want to, rather than having to stand outside in the cold & the rain... or as it is at the moment, in the warm sunshine

Ya who is going to ban as it's a tobacco company. That's what I meant.

It sounds stange but a PC performs better a higher temperature. But if the temp goes up to much the PC won't preform at all. The extreme cooling you see on some freaks PC is totally useless and is only slowing the PC down..

Your PC will work fine, even if the temperature reaches 45 Celsius.
Your PC will work fine, even if you don't have air conditioning.
Your PC wil work fine, even if the environment is dusty, and you have the tendency to keep smoking while you work.

    Trust me on this

I think I am going to have to arrange for someone to faint in the
office in order to get some sort of air con!
