I am very new to VB.NET, I have just bought a book and am teaching myself but I have to make a little project in a hurry.

I am experienced (well, a little) with VB 6, I need to make a simple form, one button and with the click event send a HEX value to the printer port (LPT1), and I have to make this a standalone .exe

If anyone could help me with a few lines of code that would be great.
