    Windows 2000 Tweaks

    Hi, I've been searching for a decent tweak site for win2k on google but I can't find anything at all, maybe I'm using the wrong keywords. More to the point, does anyone know the tweak for getting 256 colour icons in the system tray? I'm talking the latest service pack though, I believe it's 3?
    Or maybe a decent tweak site, either would suffice.

    "powertoys" + 2000

    tweakUI + 2000

    Argh, it's more of an 'un-official' tweak so I doubt it's on the winguides one, you have to hex edit explorer.exe and I think that's somewhat illegal is it not?

    not if you hack it and keep it with you. Until you do not distribute it it's ok and until you don't call MS for support if u have any problems in ur pc.

    Whahey, I've found a site that has information on accomplishing what I was after!
    The instructions are here and there's a load of ActiveX methods here!
