    Unhappy asp aint workin :(

aah I reinstalled the whole VS2k3 again, everything! when I try to make a asp project it gives me this error:

The web server reported the following error when attempting to create or open the web project located at the following url: 'http://localhost/webapplication1'. 'HTTP/1.1 500 server error'

I thoguht reinstalling vs would fix everything with iis. what should I do? it took me 2 hours to reinstall VS (cuz I'm installing everything I guess )

reinstall windows > then install iis > then install vs.net
tahst will work 100% of the time.

you could try fiddalling with the settings and making sure that IIS has been setup to run scripts and excs but that usaly isnt the problem.

go to the command prompt, change directory to:

    C:\Windows Directory\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v1.1.xxxx

    and type

    aspnet_regiis -i

    This usually works for me.
