Make sure the processor connected firmly (dont crack your MB, though )
Do you have another computer to try it in?
Tips:
- Google is your friend! Search before posting!
- Name your thread appropriately... "I Need Help" doesn't cut it!
- Always post your code!!!! We can't read your mind!!! (well, at least most of us!)
- Allways Include the Name and Line of the Exception (if one is occuring!)
- If it is relevant state the version of Visual Studio/.Net Framwork you are using (2002/2003/2005)

well, if you cant test it in another computer then i would take it back but it sounds to me that processor isnt connected.
(i troubleshooted my computer for hours and then i pushed down everything to make sure it was connected right and it worked when i pushed the processor down but man did i press it hard. Because i was kinda mad. it was doing the same thing you described) The signs could also mean that the processor is bad, so take it back and if the computer store is nice enough they might even test it for you

I have found many manuals detailing that it can take a 1.3 GHz processor
Supported
