High CPU Usage by aspnet_wp.exe
The apsnet_wp process is eating up a solid 50% of my CPU on the server. This is a dual proc box that should have no issues with load. I have monitored it over the past few days and even at times of very low connections the processor remains at 50%.
Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions?
I have only seen one atricle at MS that relates to string concatination, but I am unsure if this is the problem.
Thank you,
Jim

Is your site running in DEBUG mode?
I noticed that sites are much slower and take more CPU when running into DEBUG mode.

Maybe there is also an issue with type of processor or the speed of processor.
I normally run my sites on a webserver (P3 Intell 800mhz with 1gig of ram, .NET Enterprise Server) it allways take few seconds to load an ASP.NET site, specialy when running on HTTP, that takes like 10-30 sec before the site loads with high cpu usage.
When i run it on my other webserver (P3 AMD 1.8 with 512MB ram , .NET Enterprise Server), and on that server site appear in less than a second and allmost no cpu usage
