Com32
I have Win2K on my machine...I have Backdoor.Assasin.F and Backdoor.Assasin virus on it. It said on symantecs page that it should make and IDE folder. But I don't have one on my computer. But a folder called Com32 is infected. It has a file called com.exe in it. Do anyone else have that file, or has the virus made that one?

I'm running win xp which should use the same file system/files as win 2000 & I have neither the path or file you put above anywhere on my system...
Personally I would get yourself a boot disk which'll get you into dos (just incase), then rename the file & folder on your system & reboot. If after a week you see no change then there's a huge chance that windows doesn't need these files & they're safe to delete.

An other one replyed to me and said he used Win2K, and he didn't have it either...and I was in a hurry so I deleted the whole thing, and I don't have virus anymore, and no problems with my machine.....
