Javascript Basic Question
HI,
CAN WE USE JAVASCRIPT AS A SERVER SIDE LANGUAGE?
IF JAVASCRIPT IS SERVER SIDE LANGUAGE WHY WE DON'T USE IT FOR SERVER SIDE LANGUGAE.
LIKE
WE USE VBSCRIPT AS SERVER SIDE LANGUAGE

First, please don't type in CAPS.
JavaScript can be used as a server side language, but it's now a matter of status-quo. ASP is usually done in VBScript, even though it could be done in other languages like Perl, C/C++ and yes, Javascript.
I guess it's due to the fact that VBScript for ASP is much easier to learn and is more supported than others. Just do a search, and you'll always find help in ASP as VBScript.
Javascript is the status-quo client side language.
