    Hard Drive Failure, Restore?

    I dunno *** happened. I have a single 40 gig drive in addition to my 80gig drive ( C drive)

    All of a sudden today, throughout the day every now and then a error message would come up in a bubble in my task bar and tell me it could write to drive F or save something. It was weird. I just kept hitting ignore and whatever, and checked out my F drive and everything was there, ( data and such )


    Well, it came up again and i just got sick of it and decided to reboot. Well, low and behold, my F drive is now somehow showing up but all the data is GONE. If you try to access drive F, it asks u to format it!!

    Anyone know how I can get my data back or what is going on?

    Im doing a virus check now, but so far, nothing found.
