[resolved]-A simple networking problem
Hello, This is probably dead obvious but i still don't know.
I am currently using a linksys dsl/cable router on my cable broadband connection. i will be moving house and am getting adsl there. will the dsl router be compatible with adsl or will i have to buy a "ADSL spectific" Router?
Very simple question i know.

Tips:
- Google is your friend! Search before posting!
- Name your thread appropriately... "I Need Help" doesn't cut it!
- Always post your code!!!! We can't read your mind!!! (well, at least most of us!)
- Allways Include the Name and Line of the Exception (if one is occuring!)
- If it is relevant state the version of Visual Studio/.Net Framwork you are using (2002/2003/2005)

I will work, u just need to change the connection type to PPPoE and enter the username and password ur ISP gives you and basically ur all set. Btw, u dont need the ISP connection software (I kno my DSL provider has a "dial up" software to connect). I have a Linksys Router with 4 port switch.
It worls great!
