help with MSCOMM32 [UNresolved]

I have vb 6.0 learning edition

i'm looking for the vbctrls.reg file on my vb cd and i cant find it. should it be there?

to be alittle more specific, i'm trying to register the MSCOMM32.ocx file, and i cant find the reg file i need to add the licence. does anyone know where it is?

do you mean register it, or license it? i dont think you need to license that file. just drag it over the regsvr32.exe file in your system32 folder. (that will register it)

Licence is what i need - VB say "Lisence information for this component not found...."

Try merging the attached file into your registry.

Me too am struggling with finding VBCTRLS.REG on my learning
edition CD's, in the book it shows great applications how
to automate Internet downloads and so, but I cannot even run
the sample programs.
On my internet-research I found that I need to register the VB controls...
But nowhere I can find the VBCTRLS.REG file.
Please help us out here; if possible!
