Add topic to main page...
Hello, I thought it would be nice to add the topic/thread under the Last Post column on the main forum page. That way when you're looking to see what's new you don't have to go into each Forum Topic to see what thread the last person posted in.
Some of us spend our work(?) days scanning through the topics seeing if anyone has posted something to a thread we're interested in...
Example:
Last Post
06-20-2003 07:26 AM
In: user names
By: The Hobo
A forum I frequently visit uses a similar layout as this one, and I find it very useful:
Raven Software: Soldier of Fortune 2
Just a thought!

It seems like that only gives you the last thread, rather than any new threads. Why not use subscribe to the threads you are interested in and then use the 'user cp' page to see those specific threads. Or, you can use the 'view new posts' link to see all new posts.
Are these alternatives to what you are asking or am I missing something?

Well after posting this I did find the "View New Posts" link, and that helps, and thanks for pointing out the "user cp" button, that saves me from scrolling through all the Threads(Topics), although I still have about 7 to look through.
However, I think it would be nice to see what the last thread was that someone posted in. It's not a BIG deal, it's just nice to know that the last post on so and so time, was in this thread. I've just found it easier to scan through the topics to see if someone has added an interesting thread that I might want to take a look at.
If it's hard to do, I wouldn't worry about it, it's just a little something extra.
