    Start program when Windows starts

    How can I start my program once Windows starts up? Must I put it in a startup folder?

    Add program that you want to run to the 'Scheduled Tasks', on start up event

    Why not put it in the registry or in users startup folder?

    I put mine in the registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
