javascript and dropdown list problem

hi i added a java script menu to my webpage but when the menu is coming over a dropdown list then its going back of that control and its happening only with this one. is there a way i could over come this problem . please help me!

dont have it coming in over the select box

is there a way i can avoid that by controling the code or any other means (no placing list on its way ..!! )

If your really good with javascript then it would probably be possible, however changing those functions written by other people always seem to break it. Can you just move the select box somewhere else?

the selectbox will allways be ontop..
maby try to add the menuscript to a ilayer or something like it...
