    Whats Wrong - Shoutbox

    OK I uploaded the shoutbox folder but when i go to the www.site.com/shoutbox/ it gives me this error so i cant set it up.


    Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/virtual/site42/fst/var/www/html/shoutbox/shoutbox.php on line 221
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: isvalidcookie() in /home/virtual/site42/fst/var/www/html/shoutbox/index.php on line 79

    Never mind that. my new problem is when i go to

    shoutbox_mysql.php

    nothing shows up. teh page is blank

    I find that these errors are the hardest to figure out. Glad you got it, though.

    those errors are generally a left out } closing bracket. you might find out that line 221 is the very last line.

    saying shoutbox_mysql.php is blank when you load it doesn't tell us nothing. what is teh file suppose to do? maybe it did it seeing you didn't get any errors.
