Downgrading to Framework 1.0...
Hello. I have installed Visual Studio.NET 2003 on my system at work, but of course the network here is running on 1.0 with no immediate plans to push to 1.1. Is there anyway I can either downgrade to framework1.0 within VS.NET 2003 or is there a way to have VS use framework 1.0? Or am I stuck with uninstalling 2003 and reinstalling the 1st VS.NET? I've searched the web and can't find info on this (except for info on ASP.NET).
Thank you!
Ed

For installing and working on VS.NET 2003 , 1.1 Framework must be present (so because of this MS integrated a tool to convert VS.NET 2002 Projs to VS.NET 2003 ) . VS.NET 2002 can run on both 1.0 & 1.1 Framework .

I'm confused here...you can install the framework on a server and still use VS.NET on your development box?
It's tough being an unhandled exception...

I thought you needed the Framework installed on the local machine to run a VB.NET app?

Of course you need it locally (for local app) . and remotely for remote app (like web services , file sharing ) on the server that's running the app .
