Has anyone heard of this movie ???
It's about a kid that goes to play a mario brothers 3 competition in the end of it. I know it has something to do with kids running away, and the little kid is awsome at video games. Does anyone have any clue to what the name of this movie is. A quick response is needed.

Just another example of how the members are making this board so lame. Its getting more and more like being on AOL everyday - a bunch of newbies that have no grip on what they're actually doing.

No offence but you should still be friendly with new members and that is what forum is meant to be...
Also we need either more mods or current one needs to be more online...
Marty, can I be mod...???
Cheers...

Normally, I don't really care about things like this, but when someone
1 - asks a question
2 - gets corrected by giving essential rules on posting
3 - but then comes back and says pretty much "Yea I know about the rules, but that's not what I feel like doing."
its pretty sad. Especially when its something as trivial as the title of a movie. And I wouldn't really consider someone with 200+ posts that registered at the beginning of 2001 as being "new."

It's not like the forum operators follow the acceptable terms of use. Why should we?

I don't know what you mean by that. Maybe its the sticky thread at the top of every single forum. Whatever it is, I've never understood that kind of "he does it so I should" mindset.
Its not really a subject I'd consider arguing over with, but I still don't get why you would want to defend something like this...

Come on guys, what is the big deal?
We are not going to carry on with this debate here aren't we ?
Maybe can Martin please move this thread some where else and give poor Anemelion a chance?
Afterall we are all here to help one another, and we are all nice guys aren't we?
So take it easy ... but also try not to mess things up. Rules are rules and because of rules we are here and not IRC.
Thanks everyone.
take care

There is nothing to worry about as this is not a big deal but forums are like a comunity which stands on each and every members support and their understanding of responsibility to it.
If there are rules to certain things then I suggest all should follow it in order to keep comunity together.
I am not being hard on anyone but this is how it works.
Hope everyone else who reads this thread understands it and will try to keep in mind in order to keep members getting away from this forum...
Cheers...

By posting completely irrelevant things in any of the tech forums, you only perpetuate the problem of the forums being clogged with crap. Its the same thing with asking a .NET or HTML, etc question in the Gen VB forum. You post it in the more heavily viewed forum, because you are impatient or think that no one ever goes into the forum you should be posting in. But maybe it wouldn't be that way if you would start posting questions there.

([legal]'You' is no one in particular, and the .NET and Java forums are just the first ones that came to mind[/legal])
Oh, and the movie is called The Wizard.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

Thanks kleinma
Well here is the down-low. I just got back from Iraq, the closest thing I had to fun out there was getting a good MRE. When I got back someone wanted to see a movie, and that movie is the one I wanted to watch with them, and nothing would stop my quest to find out it's title. So if you think I don't care about the content of this forum, you've got the wrong impression, it's that nothing in the world was going to stop me from trying to find out the title of that movie. Sorry I sparked a debate, but it's a good one. Thanks for the help by the way also.
