Hi,
I'm a VB developer looking to start with Visual Interdev for the first time.
Does anyone know where I can get a good (free) tutorial for beginners.
The only one's I can find seem to have the majority of stuff done for you and I find this infuriating as I want to start from scrath rather than just tweak a pre-built project.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Rob Brown.

Hi Rob
What version of interdev are you using, I recommend 6 as anything before hand are pretty crap. You use interdev pretty much in the same way as in vb with a few differences. where you say your a interdev newbie, does that mean your new to asp, becuase if you are http://www.4guysfromrolla.com is a good place to start as it is a very good site for asp and id very for newbie's and experts alike
I'll look arounf if I can find any good refererences for interdev
all the best
Ian

Thanks for your help,
I have Interdev 6.0.
I'm completely new to ASP / HTML and just about anything you can think of relating to the web.
I just thought not so long ago, maybe I should start trying to learn to use the rest of Visual Studio and just as I was rolling up my sleeves and wiping away my tears about to wade into C++ someone (thankfully) asked me to build a web based database so it looks like I'm learning Interdev instead.
Best regards,
Rob Brown.
