    [Resolved] Ripping a DVD

Is a DVD-ROM required to rip a DVD, or can you do it from a CD-ROM? I think I already know this answer. A CD-ROM can't read a DVD. But I thought I'd check.

I do have a DVD-ROM, but the b**** won't work in my PC and I don't want to wait until I get my new PC finished.

    No, you'll need a DVD-ROM.
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
