Hello I need some help on this..
I have written a simple program whereby the original image is converted to greyscale and the image's greyscale values are manipulated with a simple compression algorithm. As a result the the image is shrunk one quarter of its size ..the rest being 0's(black colour).Everything works fine except that the saved compressed image does not output any image at all..it just displays the background color of the picturebox. However in VB5 the compressed image is viewable;1/4 sized from the original image..the rest is black.. .
I used the standard savepicture commmand to save in the bmp format.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
