    I've never looked more idiotic

Now, I usually know my stuff, but this time I've been presented with a situation where I know almost nothing about nothing.

I've been asked by a client to change some VB6 code that he wrote and that runs on Windows XP, to be converted to run on Windows CE .NET 4.2 which shall then run on Microsoft Windows CE .NEt 4.2, Microsoft Pocket PC, Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition and handleld unit devices such as the IPAQ from Compaq or BSquare PowerHandheld unit.

Where do I start? Is it possible. I mean I am daunted, literally petrified. Bail me out with some words of wisdom.

Yes it should be possible. Not done any .NET CE myself but have seen numerous presentations and articles on it.

Have a look at the following for a starter...

    Device Development

Thanks a tonne, shutty. But I'd probably have to invest a great deal of time and effort into learning .NET before I could use any of that knowledge. I've been engaged with another client requirement in VB6 (ah! thank god) for audio video input output and compression. So, it'll be sometime before I resume working on the .NET thingamabob. But thanks a zillion. Its a treasure island here coz of you folks.
