URGENT --> Removing a pitch from a movie
Basically, i've just converted a DVD to a VCD, as the DVD is on it's last legs.
It's taken an age to do, but now the movie has an annoying high pitched whistle in the background!
Anyone got ANY ideas how to stop it... I don't want to restart the VCD again!

Yes, you're right about it being "the VBForums of DVDs".... I do see lots of ads. 
You might try demultiplexing to make an mpa file, converting that to wav, and editing it in Goldwave to get rid of the whistle. Then, reconvert with somit like TMPGenc and multiplex!
