    Forum Jump...

    Just curious if you know why, {when you're not in a thread}, the default choice in the "Forum Jump" combo is always the Forum you're currently in, instead of the one thats just "Above" you one level?

    I don't know the answer, but I could speculate...

    I'd guess that it is because it is easy to make the current forum the default forum, where as making the "one above" would require quite a bit of programming logic to be included to determine what forum that is -- as well as if there is an 'above forum".

    This is just speculation on my part.
