managing my webcam

we've got a sony evi-d30 webcam.
this webcam is able of tilting, panning and zooming in/out.

i know it is possible to send commands to the camera to turn , tilt and zoom it. but how is this possible?

i'm working in visual basic, and the webcam is connected to the serial port.

if you have a source / executable which controls this webcam, could you please post a reply to this post?

Get a developers manual for this camera;

You probably have to send commands to the DLL which controls the camera or send commands directly to the com port. :/

Srry that I can't give any more info because I haven't used this camera before.
