    Unhappy What is it in a cab file that makes your computer restart sometimes?

    What is it in a cab file that makes your computer restart sometimes? I'm using P&D wizard and something has recently started making computers downloading cabs containing my activex restart after installation which is a problem.

    I can't see what the cause is (OCXs, DLLs etc are the same)

    Well to update a DLL or OCX that's already in use, the update won't be able to take place until those files are no longer in us - i.e. when the computer is booting up...

    That's an interesting point Jamie. I'll think about how it applies.
