Soundcard Driver Needed
I have an American Megatrends motherboard with a built in sound card, but I can't find the driver for it. Can anybody help me to find out which driver I need and where I can get it from.

American Megatrends sounds like a BIOS chip, you'll have to find out your exact motherboard. Is it store bought? Built at home? What features does it have? How many PCI slots? AGP? Size?

Windows should install generic AC97 drivers.

I find that one of mine didn't; I had to find the AC`97 driver and set it up myself. That was my first and last foray into integrated sound

try running windows update, sometimes when your missing the drivers and windows doesn't have a generic driver for it, windows update can sometimes fix it
